Daily Geography (DG's)
Two Daily Geography (DG's) questions will be assigned when the students enter the room.

It is the responsibility of the students to copy down the questions and find the answers by Thursday.

The students will have time during class to show me their answers. I will then confirm their correct answers by putting my initials next to each question. Students should diligently collect these signatures so that he/she may study the correct answers for the test.

DG Test

There will be a 4 question test on the last day of the week. Three questions on the test are word for word straight from the website. The fourth question is the thought provoking question or as the students like to call it the "trick question."
It is an expectation for the students to copy these questions down from the website onto a peice of paper at the beginning of class each day. I have published these questions early in case your student is absent.

Absent
If a student misses a DG Test due to an excused absence it is their responsibility by the end of the quarter to make-up the during lunch.
(It only takes 2 minutes if the student has studied).
Here is an example of a DG Question:

To see giraffes just outside Nairobi you would travel to which country in East Africa?
               Answer: Kenya
Using the answer from the above question, here is an example of a Trick Question:

Name the capital of Kenya.                                                Answer: Nairobi
