Worms:
Worms are viruses that spread through computer networks. They use the network to replicate from machine to machine. One famous example of a worm is the “Code Red” worm. It replicated itself over 250,000 times in approximately nine hours on July 19, 2001. Another famous worm was the “Goner” worm. It caused 5 million in damages and was created by four teenagers. They were arrested for their malicious code.
